Socialists make the mistake of confusing individual worth with success. They believe you cannot allow people to succeed in case those who fail feel worthless.

As a retired Army soldier and Vietnam Vet, I congratulate all of you for establishing a MC club that supports what we all stand for. We are a unique group of indiviuals who know first hand what sacrifice and caring are all about. I didn't know you even existed until I spoke to Jerry about hauling a camper for me. I have taught JROTC at New Britain High School for 15 years now and I'm still in uniform doing so. My cadets and I were at the last Silver Shield gathering in Somers and I didn't know you were all their until Jerry said he remembers my kids in uniform and my young female battalion commander when she read her speech that she was requested to do by Joe Revalese who owns the Country Diner in Enfiield where I reside. It's amazing how small the world really is. I wish I didn't sell my last Fatboy, but after 40+ years it was time for me to put the bike away and spend quality time with my nine (9) grandchildren. I wish you all the success with the club and hope you are all safe and have many more years of riding. Thanks for your time and God Bless all my brother & sister veterans. Don Fairthorne Sr.

Last Sat. our daughter Devin was hit by a pickup truck and thrown 65 ft. acrossed the road at our Veterans car and bike wash. Ms CT USA and one of Devins friends were grazed and knock to the ground. Devin received a slight skull fracture and road rash. She was life stared to Hartford hospital. She is doing just great and healing up fine in time for the prom this weekend. I wish to thank everyone who said a pray and came by to see us over the past week. To the riders in our group, God bless everyone of you for your support and friendship. Your the best. Peggy and I along will may of the riders saw the whole thing unfold right in front of us. Seeing your daughter flying of the hood of a truck at 45 mph is awful site. We will be doing another car and bike wash again soon. Devin and friends are all for it. The word extended family comes to mind when I think of our group and all we stand for. Vet's helping Vet's. Thanks for having our back. Gerry

Gerry, Just looked at your website. Looks like you are marching forward. I love the video of Lee Greenwood. Pat & I were fortunate to see him in person at a show in Florida. We have autographed T-shirts! When our son returned on the USS Kidd, DDG-993, from Desert Storm they were playing that song over their loudspeakers. As they turned into the pier area there was a huge American flag painted on the superstructure. It is a moment I will never forget!!!! At the time he was an Ensign. He is now a Navy Captain!!! Jim
